JPMorgan Chase has stood at the center of several recent controversies involving China, including allegations of flawed hiring practices and entanglements with the so-called princeling class with familial ties to high officials. But those setbacks have not deterred the U.S. investment bank from even deeper engagement with the world’s second-largest economy. Jing Ulrich, a Beijing native and founder of the bank’s “Hands-On China” speaker series, is at the forefront of that effort.
